Hi BYC Sailors,

Nice race last week.  Four leg windward leeward and a close reach to the breakwater.  The last leg was too close for even the a-symmetricals to carry their chutes.  It was great to be out there shaking off the dust and getting it going again.

We had a bit of confusion after the race.  Sag Harbor rum couldn’t be present themselves because of work but dropped off a bottle after the race.  Since no one was at the club and some were going to corner bar we had a drawing there.  I’m embarrassed to say I won the bottle.  I’ll bring it to the club next week and share it with everyone.  Sag Harbor Rum will be back next week with another bottle and another drawing.

There will be a skipper’s meeting this Sunday at 7:00pm at the clubhouse. To review the J70 policy and discuss the summer series.

Great to see everyone and looking forward to next week!

Hey BYC Sailors,

I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day.  Attached are the race results from last week.  I can’t add any commentary as we were not out there.  Six boats did make it out in time for the first race.  Would one of you who did participate please send me a note indicating the status of the tide and the average wind speed for the records?  Our new website is in the process of being finished and in the future we will simply be posting there rather than emailing of the results.  The emails have to be divided into groups due to the number of recipients and invariably there have been problems.

See you all Wednesday.

Regards,

Chris
