RE: 2003 FALL SERIES
The BYC Race Committee plans on running a Fall series beginning Wednesday 9/10 for all skippers interested.
Division splits will be announced based on entries, both Spinnaker and Non.
Fee for the series will be $20. Please look for entry forms on our website (under Summer Series), breakwateryc.org and submit with your check to Carol Morse, 421 No. Main St, Southampton, NY 11968.

- - Hi Everyone,
Here is a proposed format for Fall Series:
Racing starts Sunday Sept. 7 and ends Sunday Nov 30. 13 weekends total.
The first and third Sunday of each month will be traditional course racing. November has a fifth Sunday, this would be course racing also.
The second Sunday of each month would be longer or Distance races. 1-3 races for the day.
The fourth Sunday would be The Wednesday Night Challenge...This would be when we get the Wednesday night
Racers into our boats to race against each other in dinghies...We would crew for them
These races would not count for fall series scoring...however, you could deduct 2 points from your Fall scoring for each time you participate in this.
There would be a total of 10 race days that count for scoring...3-4 throw out days would be allowed.
Feedback on this format has been positive so far....Let me know what you think.
The meeting will be at Havens Beach this Sunday at 5:30..
Please come even if you can’t race this Sunday.
