WHITEBREAD RESULTS: PBSA's Wild and Wooly Whitebread Race had a good turnout by BYC sailors, and our guys took home some nice trophies. Div. 1A saw BYC skipper Ed Sanders' "Team Tonic" in 1st, and John Niewenhous' "Loose Fish" 2nd. In Div 1B, George Martin's "Osprey" took 1st. The Cruising division 4A saw Bruce Dinsmore's "Wave Function" in 1st with Duane Miller's "Cat's Meow" 3rd and in Div 3A, Derrick Galen's "Alyan" took 2nd. Full results are available on PBSA's website. A few of our other sailors were not so lucky, going aground in the extremely low tides which were a feature of this race. High winds also contributed to broken masts and other gear failures, making this year's Whitebread one of the all time greats.
